Hey All:
Attached are a few of the photos I took of a few bikes, a few tents and a very few VBMWR Members.
Although I was lucky enough to get from my home here in Princeton, BC and back without seeing one single raindrop, it seems that the promise of rain kept a few folks away, and cut the weekend short for others...
Still, it was nice to meet Brad from Fernie, Judy (why didn't I take your photo?) and Mr. 25,000 MILES (this season alone!!!) and his pal Dale! Chatting with Mr. 25,000 Miles, and listening to his adventures with his Trailer -cum- Side Car was worth the trip! what an inspiration! (Not to mention his awesome long-distance travel "Home Away from Home" Rig).
I hope that those of you who own the bikes (and tents) that I took photos of don't mind me putting them up here for others to view? I certainly don't mean any harm by posting them, and I will PROMPTLY take any -or all- down immediately upon request
I'm sorry I missed Wayne by a few hours as I wanted so much to thank him for all the HELP, Advice and Support that he so very generously offered me over this past season; not to mention his Gifting to me of a Portable Bike Lift "Thanks Wayne!
Also, I would like to thank all of the other VBMWR Club Members who so kindly took the time to respond to my many questions and concerns during this, my first Full Season on my Beloved 2002 R1150RT. My goodness: What A Bike!!!
Looking forward to seeing you all here over the Winter, and catching up with you all again Next Spring in Hedley, Merritt and Oroville!

Hi Daniel:
I'm sorry I missed you. I actually had a good time Friday night chatting with everyone and I had a really good sleep. However, for some reason I just wasn't feeling it on Saturday. Maybe it was the impending weather forecast, maybe it was just that I have spent quite a few nights away from home over the last couple of months. What ever the reason, I packed up late morning and had a nice ride with Ron and Mark from the Free City Riders (Tri-Cities) out to Loomis and lunch in Tonasket. I then headed home via Curlew, Midway and Beaverdell. I got home around 5:30 and saw no rain at all. Waking up to a very wet Kelowna this morning, I think I made the right decision.
Thanks for posting the photos. I realized this morning that I didn't take a single photo at the camp out. Very unusual for me. With your permission, I like to add your photos to our gallery (with credit to you).
In spite of the shortened weekend, it was great seeing everyone and I had a good time.
Cheers, Wayne

I don't blame you Wayne. I got thoroughly soaked on the way home Sunday. I did stop in at the Red Rock Cafe and have a warm up coffee and a muffin. Nice to have that as a stop over now.
