Once again, Adrian Piebenga and Kathy Turner have volunteered to host our Summer Barbecue at their wonderful property in the North Glenmore area of Kelowna. I think this is the fourth or fifth time they have hosted this event and we thank them for their generosity.  If you missed past barbecues at this venue, they have a lovely 2 acre property with lots of trees and shade.  

We're planning a good old fashioned barbecue this year with lots of burgers, smokies and maybe some chicken burgers.  We'll add in some salads, potato and green, and all the condiments and fixings.  If you have a special diet such as vegan, then you might want to bring along your own choice of veggie burger (or something else) as we've had very mixed results with veggie options in the past.  

We're going to provide lots of bottled water this year.  Again we've provided pop and other drinks in the past but have always had way too many left over or we've gotten the wrong kind.  So, if you want something other than water, feel free to bring your own pop, juice or adult beverage.  

Since we're buying food for the barbecue we would appreciate as much notice as you can if you plan on coming.  Just send an email to Wayne at This email address is being protected from spambots. We will likely be picking the food up on the 25th or 26th so please let us know your are coming by then.  If you haven't let us know by noon on Wednesday June 25th, you are still welcome to join us but you should bring your own food.
