So after several years of riding a Sidecar I am seriously hooked. So in the process of adding something special to my 2018 GSA. Been a long time in the planning stage, now it's actually happening.

There has been lots of delays but we are Patient. Well not really but not much else I can do. With the lifting of some Covid travel restrictions I was able to get the Tug to Mike at LBS-USA. 
Mike hosted me for several days while we got started But Sadly it turned to waiting again as I had lost my place in the queue. Many month later Progress again so maybe soon we will be able to show it off.

Mike was ready for me and we got to work right away with me stripping the bike of stuff that was in the way and adding a Subframe that fit perfectly. I marvel at how precise Ad Donkers of LBS in the Netherlands can fabricate and ship parts that just assemble like they had alway been installed by the factory.

There is some serious dis-assemble involved for wiring, suspension etc.
 
So after a hectic couple of days, I had to find and get a Covid test to get back home as well. We had the rig basically on it's wheels but sadly Mike had others ahead of mine now and we safely tucked it in the corner for later.
 




 

So jump to present time, Mike and his right hand guy Al are on it. Lots of discussion of different wiring options etc etc.
Brakes and front suspension done, sidecar brake tied in and all bled

Getting very close to needing me to go collect it.
 

Hoping by the end of the month. Still sorting a few can-bus issues.

That rig is very impressive Brian.  I can't wait to see it in person.  Do you anticipate any issues getting back across the border?

As most of you know we had a summer of riding the new rig. Tis a wonderful thing but we need the odd bit of maintenance and additions
