Dan had arranged camping at "Zack's on Fifth", a short walk from the barbecue. We wandered over to check it out.

Gerry was the only one of our group that camped. Too bad as it's an excellent setting, right by the river.

Home made radiator guard

Many BMW's do not come with radiator guards. My F650 GS did not. I removed the lower small front fender and installed fork boots and an aftermarket fork brace.

Pelican hard saddle bags

There are quite a few brand name metal panniers out there as aftermarket bags. These are mostly  good but they are also expensive -- close to $1,000.

Custom motorcycle seat

I began making custom motorcycle seats 20 years ago -- my first one was for my 1986 K75.

Rick Mayer saddle

A custom saddle makes all the difference in the ride for me. A good saddle in leather can run you about $300 - $700 US, but worth every penny.

Trail Tech HID lights

I was looking for more visibility and possibly better night lighting.
A club member, Don Schmok, installed HID lights.
