On Sunday, June 17th, Terry and I are going for a ride. We're meeting at Tim Horton's in Glenmore and riding up through Lumby and the up the East Side of Mabel Lake to 3 Valley Gap. We'll be stopping in at Mabel Lake Provincial Park and a couple of other Recreation sites along the way. We'll return through Sicamous and make a cheese stop at the Village Cheese in Armstrong on the way home.

Anyone who wants to join us, just show up at Tim's in Glenmore at 8:00AM on Sunday.

(Gravel Alert! Mabel Lake FSR on the east side of the lake is gravel. It was good gravel the last time I was through but it is gravel.)

Terry and I had a great day. On the way up the east side of Mabel Lake on Mabel Lake FSR, we stopped at Shuswap Falls, Mabel Lake Provincial Park and Cottonwoods Beach Recreation Site. On the way up we saw a sign that suggested Wap FSR was closed 7.5 km up. However when we got to the intersection of Mabel Lake FSR, Wap FSR and Kingfisher FSR, there was no indication of a closure. We didn't carry on to Three Valley Gap, but instead turned down the west side of Mable Lake on Kingfisher FSR. We stopped in at the Mabel Lake Golf Course for lunch then carried on to Enderby and Armstrong.

Great day. About 350 km with an estimated 120 km on FSR gravel. Pics to follow on our gallery.
